What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the Start a Project form, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number, your mailing address, the address of your project, the type of project, a description of your project, how you heard about us, and any files or photos you choose to upload.

You choose whether to provide this. If you do not submit the form, we do not collect it.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we collect standard analytics data such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and the general region you are visiting from. This is collected through cookies and is described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect payment information through this website.

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to understand what you are trying to build, and to determine whether CLA Architecture or Guide Design Build is the right fit for your project. We use analytics data to understand how people find and use the site so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.

Who else sees your information

JobTread. The Start a Project form on this site is hosted and processed by JobTread, a third party project management platform we use to manage inquiries and projects. Everything you submit through that form, including your name, contact details, project description, and any files you upload, is transmitted to and stored by JobTread on our behalf. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policy, available at jobtread.com.

Squarespace. This website is built and hosted on Squarespace, which processes visitor data as part of hosting the site.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics places cookies on your device and processes that data on Google's servers. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep project inquiries for as long as we are in contact with you about a potential or active project, and afterward for our business records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you submitted through this site. Email info@claarchitecture.com and tell us what you would like us to do. We will respond within a reasonable time.

You can decline non essential cookies using the cookie banner on this site, and you can change that choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information under your state or country's law. If you believe you have such rights and want to exercise them, contact us at the email above.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
